Make Up Monday January 2017

Every now and then on a Monday I like to share my make up tricks and tools and I decided to share a make up look from the end of 2016 that I LOVED. Every product used for this look is from Napoleon Perdis.

Primer: NP Auto Pilot Concealer Primer. Napoleon Perdis says it is a crime not to prime, so make sure you find one or some that you love on your skin. They make so much of a difference in regards to how long your make up will last for as well as help keep your skin in great condition.

Concealer: NP The One Concealer – Light. This concealer will cover just about anything, just don’t use too much. I use it under my eyes, between my eyebrows then down the bridge of my nose (which makes it look like I have drawn a martini glass on my face), cupid bow (above centre of top lip) and chin, then blend using my beautyblender.

Foundation: NP Minimal Makeup – Look 4. I normally use look 3, but had to go darker due to my fake tan. I only put foundation on sparingly, rather than covering my entire face. Where needed, I dab on foundation and then blend using my beautyblender.

Powder: NP Camera Finish – Look 4. I use power to set my concealer and foundation as I find this helps my makeup to stay on a lot longer. Using a fluffy brush, I do circular motions to blend the powder in lightly. I also ensure I never put too much power on the brush at one time otherwise it can look “caked on”.

Bronzer: NP Matte Bronze, used around the top of forehead, under cheek bones and under jaw to accentuate jaw line (great for people like me with chubby faces).

Contour kit with bronzer, highlighter and blush: NP The Ultimate Contour Kit.

Eyebrows: NP Eyebrow Pencil – Pale Rider (Warm Taupe).

Eyeshadow: NP Eyeshadow discs
Ivory Tower in corner of eye and brow bone.
All That Shiraz on eyelid and blended up.
Grape Expectations on outer lid to outer v and blended under lower lash line.
Queen of the Night in the crease, blended lightly over Grape Expectations in outer v and lower lash line.

Eyeliner: Eyeshadow Disc “Queen of the Night” used as top and bottom eyeliner with damp eyeliner brush.

Mascara: NP Long Black Mascara, used lightly before applying false eyelashes.

False Eyelashes: NP Lashes Pansy, using about 6-7 from the mid to outer of the eye.

Lips: NP Silk Road Lip Rouge in Pink Empress, lightly dabbed on.
