Make up Monday time! This look is from Saturday night when I saw the gorgeous Adele, live at Etihad stadium. I tried to do her traditional thick eyeliner with bold lips. Details below:

Primer: Benefit Cosmetics  The POREfessional face primer. It feels like you’re rubbing heaven into your skin. I have pretty oily skin so therefore I am very picky with what primer I use on my face, and I adore this one.

Foundation: Tarte Cosmetics Amazonian clay 12-hour full coverage foundation. Find a stockist and get colour matched. It took me two attempts to get the correct colour (hard to tell under all the lights in the store) but it was worth going back for. As this is a full coverage foundation, you only need to use it sparingly. I only use it across my nose and over my rosy cheeks.

Concealer: Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory. Trusty Priceline had a sale on this bad boy and aren’t I glad I made the purchase! It stays on, doesn’t feel heavy under my eyes and most importantly for me – it doesn’t go oily over the top and tip of my nose!

Powder: L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24h Powder Foundation in Beige. Priceline being wonderful with their sales, had this powder on sale and I decided to give it a crack seeing as I love their Infallible Matte Priming Base. I now live this powder, too. It feels light and has an awesome matte finish.

Bronzer: The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder in 05. I am a VERY big fan of The Body Shop and have been for well over a decade now. Yet, I had never purchased this bronzer. I’m not one for regrets in life but I could have stumbled across it earlier during my frequent visits to their stores.

Blush: The Body Shop All-In-One Cheek Colour in Truffle. I bought this on one of my trips to America and stocked up on make up, and unfortunately I can’t find this colour in Australia. The closest colour to Truffle that you can get in Australia is Amber.

Highlighter: BECCA Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moontone. When I walked into Sephora in Sydney for the first time, I was greeted by a handsome gentleman who was wearing this and demanded he show me the way to this goodness. Ever since then, I have used this is my night time highlighter.

Eyeshadow: Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. Corner eye and blended out – Tease then Snakebite, which was used deepen the crease to create the smokey look. Snakebite was also used under the eye as well and blended to the inside corner. I have Naked palettes 1,2,3 and Basics because, why not? I get a lot out of them. You just have to force yourself to use all the beautiful colours in the palettes.

Eyeliner: BYS Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner Waterproof & Smudgeproof. I am allergic to a lot of eyeliners however, I have never had a reaction to any of the black eyeliners from BYS. I love the tip of the applicator as it is perfect for doing a fierce winged eyeliner. Just have cotton tips on stand by for when mistakes happen.

Mascara: Maybelline Volum’ Express Falsies Everlasting Waterproof Mascara. I love this mascara so much so that when I was in America and visited Target, I literally took every single one that was in stock at the store. A lady laughed at me until she realised they were on sale and then tried looking for more. Sorrynotsorry.

Eyebrows: Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette. I have been using this for yeeeeaaarrrsss. It doesn’t melt off your face, it glides on easily but not too easily that you lose control. Yes, that can happen with some eyebrow pencils.

Lips: NYX Cosmetics Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Brooklyn Thorn. I bought the NYX Liquid Suede Vault, which has 24 delicious lip shades that will make your face pop. I’m obsessed with all the colours and how long the matte finish stays on – even after eating and drinking!
