You may have heard her on radio or seen her popping up on your TV for the better part of two decades. Comedian and Presenter Sarah Maree recently brought her smash-hit sold out show ‘One Womb Please!’ back to Melbourne International Comedy Festival and is touring across Australia. Sarah Maree has worked across Australia and in Canada as a radio and television presenter, with a deep connection to her home city of Melbourne having hosted on Fox FM, Triple M and Nova 100 on local and networked shows. After a few years on breakfast at K rock in Geelong, you can still hear her popping up on the station she left such a large impression on as well as 3AW.
An acclaimed comedian and award-winning radio presenter, Sarah Maree has toured Australia and Canada extensively performing sell-out shows and winning over critics and crowds alike with her warm, relatable and shockingly true and funny story-telling. She has supported comics like Celia Pacquola, Lizzy Hoo, Ray O’Leary, Claire Hooper, Dave Thornton, Kirsty Webeck, Dave O’Neil and Harley Breen to name a few.
In 2018 Sarah Maree made her movie debut in an international feature ‘At Last’, starring alongside John Waters, Alex Dimitriades, Rhys Mitchell, Jia-yi Zhang, Ni Yan and Yan Jiang. Sarah Maree has also achieved success with numerous local theatrical companies and improv comedy troupes as a trained actor, singer, dancer and comedian. Her smooth voice is widely-recognised and sought after as a voice over artist, where you can hear her work on Australia’s biggest podcasts like ‘Hamish and Andy’ as well as numerous television and radio commercials.
After years of freelance writing, she joined Get Lost travel magazine as the Assistant Editor and Social Media Strategist at the start 2024. Off the screen Sarah Maree is currently working on three television projects as a Producer; a reality television program, a comedy series as well as a music documentary, with two projects set for release in late 2024.
You can find her hosting events and festivals right across Australia. In sport, you’ll find her each AFL season at the MCG hosting Richmond Football Club’s home games, which she has done for over 12 years. You can also catch her court-side on Nine’s coverage each year as a presenter for the Australian Open and on the sidelines for WNBL. Sarah Maree has also worked with Cricket Australia, A-League and NRL.
With a passion for community and charity work, Sarah Maree is an Ambassador for the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation and Endometriosis Australia. She has also worked and hosted events for Movember, Epworth, Cancer Council, Treasure Chest Charity and Friend in Me as well as many other charities.
